Crusaders vs Hurricanes

After a disappointed lost to the Virginia Crusaders on last Saturday, the Hurricanes look forward to bouncing back. Mental mistakes by the Hurricanes allowed the Crusaders to capitalize in many ways. Also with several key injuries in the first quarter, the Crusaders were able to get a true victory. “The guys were not totally focused and was just not playing Hurricane football. I truly believe after this loss the Hurricanes are aware that they must play a perfect disciplined penalty free game in order to be victorious,” stated Coach Monty. A humbling loss and wakeup call has been issued. The eye of the storm has begun, will continue to gain strength and soon disaster will strike.  The 2-1 Hurricanes will be traveling to Jacksonville, NC this weekend to face the Tri-county Crusaders.

The Hurricane Ethics, Etiquette, and Conduct class was a great success on last Saturday. Dr. Watson covered a vast amount of ground in Category 5 form . Players were able to relate varies degrees of EEC as it corresponds to their personal and professional lives. Special thanks to Dr. Watson for his very thorough presentation. “I was well pleased with the energy level in the class, I felt the players was very receptive of the information. Professor’s class will help prepare our hearts, minds, and souls as we go into the 2013 season,” stated Coach Monty.
